Customer Success & Onboarding Specialist
At SafetyClerk, we are building the next generation of construction operations, safety, risk management, and insurance technology software.
Our platform helps Construction Managers, General Contractors, Owners, Brokers, and Subcontractors digitize and manage workforce onboarding, safety compliance, access control, time tracking, insurance management, daily logs, incident reporting, and more.
We are looking for a Customer Success & Onboarding Specialist to join our field operations team and help onboard companies and workers directly on jobsites throughout the Greater New York area.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, interacting with people, solving problems, and helping clients successfully adopt technology in real operational environments.
What You'll Do
- Travel to active construction jobsites across the Greater New York area
- Onboard subcontractors, workers, foremen, and site teams onto SafetyClerk
- Assist with worker orientations, account creation, compliance workflows, and daily usage support
- Support turnstile and access control deployments together with the operations team
- Help clients understand and properly use SafetyClerk's tools and workflows
- Act as a bridge between clients, Customer Success, Support, and Operations teams
- Identify onboarding issues, operational gaps, or product feedback and escalate internally
- Build strong relationships with superintendents, safety managers, project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on site
- Help ensure high adoption and long term customer success
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional SafetyClerk features, licenses, hardware, or workflows directly from jobsites
- Support occasional troubleshooting and field coordination when needed

- Comfortable in fast paced startup environments
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel regularly to jobsites throughout the NYC metro area
- Willingness to occasionally travel across the U.S. for project onboarding and deployments when needed
- Comfortable with early morning schedules when required, as many worker onboarding sessions begin around 7:00 AM directly on jobsites
Strong Plus If You Have
- Background in construction, safety, field operations, or workforce management
- Experience working on construction jobsites
- Experience onboarding or training users on software platforms
- Familiarity with operational or compliance focused software
- Customer Success or client facing experience
- Experience with access control systems or hardware deployments
