Account Executive
At SafetyClerk, we are building the next generation of construction operations, safety, risk management, and insurance technology software.
Our platform helps Construction Managers, General Contractors, Owners, Brokers, and Subcontractors digitize and manage workforce onboarding, safety compliance, time tracking, access control, insurance tracking, daily logs, incident reporting, equipment inspections, and more.
SafetyClerk combines construction operations, compliance, workforce management, and real-time risk intelligence into a single platform designed to help companies reduce risk, improve accountability, and better manage projects across the United States.
We are looking for a driven and relationship-focused Account Executive to help expand SafetyClerk's presence nationwide.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage relationships with construction companies, owners, brokers, safety professionals, and industry partners
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, outreach, referrals, and industry relationships
- Run product demos and guide prospects through the sales process
- Work closely with leadership to identify strategic opportunities and target accounts
- Coordinate with Customer Success and Operations teams during onboarding and rollout
- Maintain and manage pipeline activity through CRM tools
- Attend virtual and in person industry events, conferences, and meetings as needed
- Help shape sales strategy, messaging, and go to market initiatives
- Provide feedback from prospects and clients to the product team
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 10+ years of sales or business development experience
- Experience in construction, construction technology, SaaS, insurtech, insurance brokerage, or risk management
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage a full sales cycle
- Self motivated and comfortable operating in a startup environment
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
Big Plus If You Have
- Existing relationships or a book of business within construction, safety, insurance, or real estate development
- Experience selling operational or compliance focused software
- Familiarity with construction workflows, insurance requirements, or workforce management
- Experience working with General Contractors, Owners, Brokers, or Subcontractors
- Startup experience

Compensation
- Base salary plus uncapped commission structure
