Senior Account Executive
At SafetyClerk, we are building the next generation of construction operations, safety, risk management, and insurance technology software.
Our platform helps Construction Managers, General Contractors, Owners, Brokers, and Subcontractors digitize and manage workforce onboarding, safety compliance, time tracking, access control, insurance tracking, daily logs, incident reporting, equipment inspections, and more.
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Account Executive with strong relationship building skills and ideally an existing network within construction, insurance, real estate development, or construction technology.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term industry relationships and being in the field meeting clients, visiting jobsites, attending events, and helping grow a fast-moving company.
What You'll Do
- Develop and grow relationships across the construction and insurance ecosystem
- Meet with General Contractors, Owners, Safety Directors, Brokers, and Subcontractors
- Conduct product demos and presentations both virtually and in person
- Identify and close new business opportunities
- Attend industry networking events, conferences, association meetings, and jobsite visits
- Collaborate closely with leadership on strategic accounts and partnerships
- Coordinate onboarding handoff with Customer Success and Operations
- Maintain strong pipeline management and forecasting
- Help expand SafetyClerk's presence throughout the Greater New York market
What We're Looking For
- 4 to 10+ years of experience in construction, construction technology, SaaS sales, insurance or insurtech, risk management, or workforce and operational software
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in fast paced startup environments
- Ability to build trust with operational and executive level stakeholders
- Highly organized and self driven
Strong Plus If You Have
- Existing relationships or book of business in the Greater New York construction industry
- Experience working with General Contractors, Owners and Developers, Insurance Brokers, Safety Professionals, or Subcontractors
- Familiarity with construction operations, compliance, workforce management, or insurance workflows
- Experience selling enterprise or operational SaaS solutions
